The Fraser River is an integral part of a complex and vibrant ecosystem that supports endangered species such as salmon, caribou and grizzly bears. People, communities and wildlife depend on the Fraser River and its Watershed for their prosperity and survival.

Rivershed is working with our network to identify priority regional protection campaigns, with the goal of protecting 30% of the Fraser Watershed. We elevate and support regional campaigns that are working to protect key salmon and wildlife habitat to achieve the protection necessary for a resilient Fraser Watershed.

Science shows 30% must be protected to avoid catastrophic biodiversity loss and combat climate change. Currently large swaths of the Fraser Watershed remain intact but are under threat from industry.
