Spend a Day Paddling the Nechako River!

 

Join us on August 10 for a day of paddling, hands-on activities, and expert knowledge-sharing.

You will:

 Learn from Indigenous Traditional Ecological Knowledge.

 Meet and learn from experts working in environmental fields.

 Explore future careers in the professional watershed workforce, such as water monitoring, habitat restoration and stewardship.

 Connect with like-minded youth.

 Have fun while taking in the beauty of the Nechako River.

This free event, for youth between 13 – 25, will be held in and near Vanderhoof, BC in the traditional territory of the Saik’uz First Nation. No previous paddling experience necessary.
