Simon Zukowski

Board Member, Fraser Headwaters Region

Simon was introduced to Rivershed in 2016, as a participant of the Sustainable Living Leadership Program (SLLP). This first-hand contact with the Fraser that the SLLP gave Simon left a permanent mark in his heart. The following year, Simon became involved with the Fraser Headwaters Alliance (FHA) and its efforts to protect the Goat River watershed. In 2020, he was invited onto the FHA’s board. Before moving to Prince George, where he currently resides, Simon worked as a manager for the Provincial Government in Victoria. He is currently working as a program evaluator for the Northern Health Authority. Simon holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from SFU and a Master of Education in Counselling from the University of Northern BC. He lives with his wife Simran (another SLLP participant), and two lovely daughters, Aya and Sofia.
