Justine Nelson

Justine joined the Rivershed team in 2017 and is grateful to lead the team’s collaborative efforts to Connect, Protect, and Restore the Fraser Watershed.
The Fraser River has been an important part of the landscape of her life’s journey. She’s been vocal about protecting the natural world since she was a child.
She has a B.A.A. Honours in Criminology from KPU and a M.Ed. in Education for Sustainability from UBC.
Justine lives in the traditional territory of the Matsqui First Nation, today known as Glen Valley, Abbotsford, along the Fraser River with her partner, their children, and a collection of animals.
