Liana Glass

Fundraising Assistant

Liana is a settler of European descent who has spent most of her life on traditional Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Musqueam territory. She has fond and formative memories of going to see the salmon run in the Adams River on Secwépemc territory for many years growing up. Currently, Liana runs a small-scale, multi-site urban farm in Vancouver called City Beet, where she grows vegetables and cut flowers for her community using ecological methods. She has significant experience grant-writing and managing her small business’s finances. Liana’s passions for the environment and community building have guided her path so far and she is excited to support Rivershed’s important work as a Fundraising Assistant. Liana holds a Bachelor of Arts & Science from McMaster University and a Masters of Community and Regional Planning from UBC. Outside of work, Liana enjoys being outside, playing ultimate frisbee, and a good story.
