Watershed Workforce on the sc̓e:ɬxʷəy̓əm (Salmon River)

This Lower Fraser Watershed Workforce program offers young people a chance to spend time on the land and water in relationship to the sc̓e:ɬxʷəy̓əm (Salmon River) in Langley, at an active Foodlands corridor where restoration and long-term care of land and water are underway.

This program is for young people who are curious about rivers, interested in how land and water are cared for, or wondering what watershed stewardship can look like in practice. This is a way to learn by being there.

Since care for this place is ongoing, participants are able to learn from work that is unfolding over time rather than from a single project or moment.
