Watershed Workforce: Lower Fraser

Langley and Coquitlam, BC (Lower Fraser Region)

This two-day immersive experience is designed for youth (ages 15-20) interested in discovering career paths that support watershed health and their communities.

Day 1

Hands-on experience at the sc̓e:ɬxʷəy̓əm (Salmon River) Foodlands corridor, learning about careers in watershed stewardship from local experts.

Day 2

Celebrate World/BC Rivers Day and paddle on the Fraser River with Voyageur Adventures and watershed leaders.

This is a two-day, overnight experience, and a packing list with required supplies will be provided closer to the date of the trip. A small refundable deposit of $50 is required to confirm your spot, which will be returned upon participation*. If this refundable fee is a barrier, please let us know.
*Note: This fee will not be refunded to registrants who don’t show up or cancel less than 72 hours in advance.
