How to Apply for the RCEY

Application Information

Applicant Qualifications

You are between the ages of 16 to 21, physically fit, willing to lead and work hard. You are a team player that’s committed to making a difference in your community and getting to know like-minded people who are doing the same. Preference will be given to applicants that put a serious effort into their application.

On the trip, you will help with meal preparation, camp set-up and other duties. Meals are local, organic and meatless where possible. Additionally, you will take part in activities and discussion designed to improve your leadership capabilities while connecting with fellow participants. Drugs, alcohol and smoking are not permitted.

A maximum of 8 participants will be accepted. Currently this program is available to students from School District 91 and members of the Nadleh First Nation.

How to Apply

To be eligible, you need to fill out the online registration form and submit required documentation with your application before June 10, 2019. Download the following documents, fill out, sign and have the electronic copy ready before you begin the registration process:

Acceptance Into the Program

Participants will be notified regarding their acceptance into the program by email or phone on or before June 17, 2019. Selected participants will also receive an acceptance package via email by this date.

We must receive your application by June 10, 2019 to be considered for the program.

At this time, all seats are sponsored for SD91 and Nadleh FN members. Please contact us if you have questions about the sponsorships.
