Hike & Bike the New World Class Mountain Bike Trails at Xatśūll
The new trails are now ready to use for mountain biking, hiking and any other non-motorized use. The new trail network, constructed in 2016, connects Xatśūll Heritage Village and the Fraser River with Blue Lake and features over 8 km of trails with spectacular views and challenging stunts (with beginner versions at each one).
Plenty of parking is available at Xatśūll Heritage Village and the trailhead at Highway 97. “Squiggly Bench” is the cross country climbing line that connects Highway 97 with Blue Lake. A great downhill ride or hike is the “DH Hipsta” trail which has some very creative and unique wooden structures, including the largest in the Interior. “Crazy Ant” connects Highway 97 with the Fraser River – it has an expert-only freeride option with the most incredible views of the Fraser River. There is also a hiking trail that connects “Crazy Ant” with Xatśūll Heritage Village – it features several views of the River. Bikes can connect to the Heritage Village as well and experience all the award-winning site has to offer.
