On Friday night, March 10, the film RiverBlue comes back to the lower mainland for a final ‘big screen” showing following its sold-out run last fall at the Vancouver International Film Festival and its current showings at film festivals around the world. Please join us at North Vancouver’s beautiful Centennial Theatre for this special event jointly presented by Paddle Productions and the Seymour Salmonid Society.

RiverBlue chronicles an unprecedented around-the-world river journey by renowned paddler and conservationist Mark Angelo as he uncovers and documents the dark side of the global fashion industry, one of the planet’s biggest industrial freshwater polluters. Narrated by Jason Priestley, the film strives to be a positive agent for change that aims to make the fashion industry more ethical and sustainable, something we can all help to achieve.

This particular showing will benefit the Seymour Salmonid Society and its laudable effort to repair the damage done to North Vancouver’s Seymour River by a major rock slide that occurred just over 2 years ago. The film will be followed by a Q and A. We hope you can join us!
