Our AGM is taking place by the mighty Fraser River, in the Network Hub’s bright and colourful meeting space on the second floor of the River Market, at the New Westminster Quay.
This AGM will feature Rivershed Stories. Attendees will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and tell their own Rivershed Story, in addition to watching For the Love of Salmon, an award-winning short film about Keely Weget-Whitney, a 2011 SLLP graduate who swam the Fraser River from Lillooet to Lytton, along with Gary Pooni’s Fraser Story (a new video).
All are welcome. Current and former Board Members, SLLP alumni, and RSBC supporters and friends are invited to come see what we’ve all been up to!
Before the AGM, the MV Beta Star catamaran will set sail at 11:00 AM sharp for an RSBC & Friends Ladner Wetlands Cruise upon the Lower Fraser River.
The cost to take part in the afternoon cruise is $77.94 per person, $41.94 per child (6-12 years old), and children 5 and under are free. The ticket prices include the 3-hour catamaran cruise and lunch on board. More information.
The annual Fraser River Sunset Dinner Cruise, our trademark fundraiser for the Sustainable Living Leadership Program, is taking place the night before the AGM. This year’s event features local entrepreneur Gary Pooni as the guest speaker. Tickets for the Dinner Cruise are $150.00 each and include a plated three-course meal featuring wild Pacific salmon. Enjoy a 3-hour cruise, taking in the beauty of our surroundings from a unique water perspective. More information/register.
We would love to see you on one of the river cruises!
