John Marquis
Upper Fraser Regional Assistant
Raised on the territories of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation in Prince George, freshwater began shaping John’s life during childhood exploration of local creeks and forests. With a formal education in natural resource management and a technical forestry background, John brings localized insight to the Rivershed team, whose collective efforts to promote a resilient Fraser Watershed continue to expand his perspective on freshwater protection in the North. In his free time, John can still be found exploring the many tributaries and forests in the Upper Fraser watershed, most often with a camera in hand.
