Corrie has over five years of experience working as a biologist in the Lower Mainland and southern British Columbia. She holds a master’s degree from UBC Okanagan, where she studied ecosystems as complex human-environment systems and promoted a holistic and collaborative vision for managing the natural environment. Following her graduate work, Corrie has had the pleasure of working in Lillooet and the Lower Mainland as a biologist. She specializes in conducting environmental assessments and developing avoidance and mitigation strategies to reduce the effect of human land use changes on the environment. Corrie has a strong background in fish and wildlife and enjoys having the opportunity to act as an advocate for the environment. She is passionate about species at risk throughout BC, particularly amphibians and sturgeon.
Corrie has explored much of British Columbia by boat, bicycle, skis, and foot. She is a graduate of the 2019 Sustainable Living Leadership Program and currently lives in Delta with her cat.
