Mid Fraser Regional Assistant
Ayla was born and raised on the traditional, unceded territory of the St’at’imc Nation (near Lillooet BC). Growing up off the grid in a rural valley fostered her love and curiosity of the natural world and led her to pursue a BSc in Biology and GIS from the University of Victoria. She has held roles in research, data analysis and science communication.
Now living in Secwépemc territory, Ayla is grateful to be part of the Rivershed team and contributing to our mission of connecting, protecting, and restoring the Fraser Watershed and its 34 riversheds. In her free time, she can be found outdoors with her dog, doing yoga, or cozied up with her cats and a cup of tea.
